Heroin is opiate, which means that it is the opium poppy. Like other opiates, can be eaten, inhaled, smoked or injected. Because the body quickly built a tolerance to heroin, users can become addicted quickly. The heroin tranquilizing euphoric effects arrives at a high price: regular use can lead to kidney, pneumonia, Lung abscesses and disorders, depending on how the drug is taken of the brain dysfunction. Those who inject drugs also may abscesses skin, phlebitis (inflammation of a vein, often with a blood clot formation), scarring, hepatitis and HIV infection. The drugs, methadone itself creates a dependency goal much less than heroin, is often used to treat heroin dependence; the person may need to take to the rest of his life. The methadone treatment is generally given on an external basis under the supervision of a doctor.
